Just a reminder that we are not currently rehoming due to lockdown restrictions. We are still accepting applications but there may be a delay in response time as we have halted almost all volunteer activities to focus on the dogs in our care and keep the team safe.
Our site is closed to visitors at this time other than contractors required for ongoing site work.
We are accepting boarding dogs for key workers; emergency boarding for dogs whose owners are hospitalised or fleeing domestic violence; and of course we have not closed intake for stray, abandoned or welfare case dogs. Unfortunately, we are unable to receive relinquishments outside of this scope unless it is an emergency.
In essence, we are not closed enough to receive government grants, but restrictions mean we have to be closed enough to not offer our usual services. It’s pretty much an open shut case…..Which sadly also means we fall into the area of not being entitled to funding. Again
