✨ Meet Perdita ✨
When Perdita first arrived with us, she was what we believe is a “fake stray” — a dog handed in as though she’d been found wandering, but in truth, “found” by her owner. And it was painfully clear she had experienced more than her fair share of fear.
Perdita was so terrified, it took us two whole weeks just to remove her lead. Every step closer was a test of patience, trust, and compassion, all working at her pace.
But slowly, gently, in the last 2 weeks, Perdita began to change. This scared dog who once cowered in the corner, peeing in fear, has started to believe in people again. 💛 💜
