Pawprints Dog Rescue is looking to recruit a full-time Canine Behaviourist and Trainer, initially on a one year employment contract.
This role has been made possible by major grant funding from Battersea following our attendance at the Battersea Academy and our subsequent Change Plan.
Duties will require working alongside our operational team in the assessment and welfare of the dogs in our care providing behavioural training and advice for staff, volunteers, customers and external organisations.
The successful candidate will be confident in handling difficult dogs, self-motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills. They will already be proficient in carrying out training programmes with dogs and in providing practical hands on support to others.
Experience of working in a rescue enviorment previously is highly desirable.
