Pawprints Calendar Stars Competition
Enter your Pawprints pooches into our “2026 Calendar Stars Competition”, for them to be in with a chance to win and become a Pawprints “Star of the month”.
The Prize: A 30-minute photo session for your rescue dog with Stephanie Colledge and a feature page in the calendar on one of the months!

A little bit about our photographer: Steph is a local photographer with a very special someone in her life… Pawprints dog, Ant! You may have met Steph at previous events, as she often takes photos at our Annual Fun Dog Show and regularly attends fundraisers and community events.
So, how do you get involved?

Suggested minimum donation of £3 per doggie entry!
How to enter:

Competition close:
You have until midday on Wednesday 14th May to enter your Pawprints rescue dog.
Not to spoil the paw-ty, but…
Please note: This competition is only open to Pawprints rescue dogs (either now rehomed or in foster with you). If you enter your dog, but they are not a previous Pawprints rescue, we will not be able to consider them for the calendar (huge a-paw-logies).
Steph adds “Your dog will be photographed one-to-one with me and you (the owner) in attendance. If your dog is nervous, shy or timid, they are very welcome. We will just take time to acclimatise at your dogs pace before any photos are taken. The happiness and wellbeing of your dog is the most important part of the process.”

ALL THE IMPORTANT STUFF (please read before entering)
Dates (these are set and cannot change): The photoshoot dates will fall on Sunday 1st June and Sunday 15th June. You will be allocated a time-slot on either of those dates.
T&Cs: By entering your dog into the competition parents/owners understand you are giving:-
Permission for Pawprints to use any of the photos taken of your dog at the session for our 2026 Pawprints Calendar.
Images may be used for the 2026 Pawprints Calendar, Pawprints Social Media, Pawprints Website and any other detail in support of the calendar. The images may also be used in future marketing for Pawprints Dog Rescue (especially for future calendars).
No compensation will be given to owners from the use of the images.
By entering you understand that the sessions are taking place/being photographed on 1st and 15th June and that you are able to attend on either date (this will be allocated).
There is no cash alternative to the prize given.
If the winner is unable to attend, Pawprints will pass the prize to the next dog eligible.
Location of photoshoot will be in Rugby: Newbold Village Hall, 418 Newbold Road, Rugby, CV21 1EL
Winning dogs will be the responsibility of the owner at all times during the session.
Owners will be asked to sign a form on arrival regarding their dog, temperament and anything the photographer should know before the session begins.
Competition will be judged by members of the Pawprints Team.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Should your dog win Pawprints “Star of the month”, you are in for an absolute treat!
What’s included in the prize:
A photo session for your dog (a dog mini-session of up to 30 minutes).
Viewing session with Steph/Pawprints to help choose the image of your dog for our calendar.
Winners will also receive a copy of our calendar.
One 8” x 10” photograph of your choice from your dogs gallery (option to purchase more images from Steph directly, should you wish!)
Both photograph/calendar will either be delivered or can be collected, when the calendar is ready for sale.
Total prize comes to worth of up to around £50… and there’s 12 prizes to win, plus our cover star!
