Haaland

Haaland is a gentle, sweet boy who is searching for a big cozy sofa to call his own. He was found as a stray so we don’t have any history on this boy, sadly before he came into our care he at some point has had his ears cropped. This is an awful and unnecessary procedure and something no dog should endure. Despite going through this Haaland is a loving and affectionate boy who just wants to be loved.

Haaland enjoys walking with other dogs, and has a range of friends he regularly goes for walks with but he would like to be the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. His perfect family would be an adult only household. He cannot live with cats or small furries.

Despite his size, Haaland walks beautifully on the lead. We don’t think he has been exposed to much before coming to us so he can worried around loud noises, such as bus are brakes or other loud traffic. He would do best in a quieter location so he can build his confidence in his own time, for this reason he would also like his own secure garden. He does travel well in the car but may need some encouragement to jump in.

Haaland is ready to have a family to give all his love to and to start getting out into the world building his confidence on each adventure! Haaland will need a family who is able to build up his time alone gradually.
