Avie

Avie is a gorgeous smaller Patterdale cross at approximately 6 months old and available for adoption at Pawprints Dog Rescue in the Midlands

Avie is a sweet young dog who was found as a stray with two other dogs. She unfortunately was found with an ear injury, was in pain and very scared. It took her a while to start to come round to us who were looking after her… but once she did she loved to sit next to us for cuddles and will get zoomies round the kennel when we go in to see her. Her new family may need to visit multiple times so she can feel comfortable before going home.

Avie can live with other dogs, and loves to run around and play, she does seem more confident around dogs her own size. We don’t think Avie has much experience of the big wide world, and confident dogs do help Avie to be brave but she could do well in a home by herself too with a committed family able to continue her training and help her build her confidence gradually. She cannot live with cats or small furries.

We know Avie will shine in a home she can call her own, we have already started to see her cheeky playful character come out and know that will continue as she learns to trust and we can’t wait for her to go on the adventures she truly deserves!
