I wasn’t truly happy
But nobody could see
Too many things were happening
And just upsetting me
It wasn’t just the kids at play
Although they were quite loud
The other dog was in my face
There’s always such a crowd!
I tried to say it was too much
But nobody could hear
They labelled me all wrong you see,
“Aggression” was just fear
Luckily I am still here
And found a peaceful place
My new Mum saw straight away
That I just needed space
And so I have my new home
Much quieter than before
Sleep and meals all undisturbed
No fear anymore.
