Meet Boo a beautiful German Shepherd Cross available for adoption at Pawprints Dog Rescue in the Midlands.

She is currently enjoying life in a loving foster home while she waits for the forever home she so desperately deserves. Boo has so much love to give and, once she feels comfortable, her personality really shines she loves to play and have a big snuggle on the sofa. She is such a fun dog to be around but just needs that specific home to thrive.

Boo is fully house-trained, can be left for up to five hours, and travels well in the car in a covered crate. Boo is currently in foster care because she struggled with life in kennels. She is ready to take the next step towards finding her forever family, she will be looking for a specific home where she can feel safe, secure and understood. The outside world can feel overwhelming for Boo due to having had limited exposure before she was in our care. She finds interactions with dogs the most overwhelming and can become vocal at the sight of them. She has made progress with this, and all her training and management will be passed on to potential adopters. Boo is walked muzzled for this reason. She will need a patient, understanding home in a quiet location, where walks can take place in peaceful surroundings and a family willing to continue her training and desensitisation in a positive way.

Our rescue team and Behaviourist will provide full ongoing support and guidance to help Boo and her new family on their journey together. Boo isn’t asking for a perfect home, just the right one. A home where she can feel safe, where nobody expects too much too soon, and where she can enjoy all the little things that make life wonderful; playing football, having cuddles and finally knowing she belongs.
