Trick

Trick is a lovely 4 year old blue male greyhound available for adoption at Pawprints Dog Rescue in the Midlands.

Trick is a 4 year old retired greyhound who is looking for a quiet home where he is loved and pampered. Trick can live with other dogs and would particularly suit to share with other sighthounds or calmer large breeds.

As Trick, has never lived in a home before he may need a little time and patience to understand the home environment and learn about all the comforts of home life, he has been house trained in his kennel but may need some help in the home. We think a home with older teenagers (15+) would be best, so that Trick can enjoy a calmer, slower paced atmosphere where he can learn to settle. He walks well on the lead, and enjoys going for walks with other dogs and has been to busy locations and has coped well, he does show some signs of being overwhelmed in new places so would like to be introduced slowly to the big wide world. Trick does become excited when he spots small furries such as squirrels so his new family must be mindful of this when out and about.

He is unable to live with cats or small furries due to this reason unless the caged small animals are in a room where he will never make contact with them.

Trick will be a fantastic addition to any home; he would love a big bed to spread out on and a family who will give him the time and reassurance to adjust to a new start to his life.
