Billy

Billy is a handsome boy staffie cross available for adoption at Pawprints Dog Rescue who is looking for a patient family able to help his confidence grow.

Billy is a handsome boy who is looking for a patient family able to help his confidence grow. We don’t have much history on Billy, but it seems he has not been exposed to much in the past and can become a bit over the top at times. We are working on this with him, and he is making improvements every day. He spends a lot of time in our office where we have it set up to be a real-life room, he enjoys spending time on the sofa with his handler but will also take himself off to settle in a bed or on the floor.

Billy is able to walk with other dogs, but he can become frustrated, he would do well in a home able to access quieter walks whilst he is still learning to be more social with other dogs. He will need to be the only pet in the home. He absolutely adores car journeys and would happily travel to get to quieter walking areas. He really does love his walks and regularly goes out with our volunteers to various places; his favourite seems to be finding a nice stream to paddle in.

Once you build a relationship Billy will happily enjoy some fuss and loves an ear massage! We are looking for a calm, adult only home, so Billy has a quiet place to take himself should he feel overwhelmed. Billy would like a big cosy bed to curl up into, and a nice garden he can explore. He has so much love to give to a family and will be an amazing addition to the home. We would like a family interested to meet him a few times or have a few home visits to build his confidence so will be looking for a home closer to our rescue. We cannot wait for the day Billy gets his own family and shows off how amazing he can be.
