This is a shout out to all the golden oldies out there, please do not give up hope, at 12 years old i found myself alone and in the pound. I had no idea what was going and on and was scared and alone. Pawprints Dog Rescue took me in and i met some lovely slaves that showed me lots of love and i enjoyed seeing them for my daily walks, cuddles and to play ball.
I was also really lucky that a lovely couple decided to foster me, i managed to complete my training with them before i left and they now understand that the dog is always right, that i make a great sleeping buddy and i also showed them how much fun playing with water can be but whilst i loved being there i was really excited when they told me that i was going to be adopted and have a new family.
My new dad is the same age as me in doggy years and we spend the days relaxing at home watching tv and pottering around the house, my new mum takes me out for my walks and i am loving my new home. Thankyou to everyone at Pawprints for looking after me and to my foster mum and dad for the extra love an attention you gave this old girl. Lots of Love and Licks Peggy. x
