*IMPORTANT: UPDATED STATEMENT*
It is with great sadness that we have taken the decision that with immediate effect we will be ceasing all new adoption and fostering activity, this will help to limit the amount of people on site to ensure we help to protect the kennel staff.
With regret, we have now halted volunteer help across all of our activities. We wish everyone to be safe. The staff at Dunsmore Kennels and our Behaviourst, will ensure the dogs are provided with everything they need including exercise. We will hopefully update you with pics etc when they have time.
Thank you all so much for the deliveries and drop offs from our Wish List, the many donations that have arrived daily but until further notice our drop off point on site is now closed.
Any financial support you can give us through what is going to test the charity to the absolute limits is very appreciated. Quite frankly, we’ve never needed your support more. We will continue to help as many dogs as we can through this period but everyone must be aware that most other rescues have closed intake which means we cannot transfer dogs out. We will do our absolute best.
Please help us to keep going. Your words of comfort and encouragement are appreciated by all.
PLEASE DO NOT ABANDON YOUR DOG AT THIS CHALLENGING TIME. YOU WILL BE PUTTING IT’S LIFE, AND THE LIFE OF OTHER DOGS AT RISK.
ALSO PLEASE EXERCISE YOUR DOGS RESPONSIBLY AND WHERE POSSIBLE ON LEAD, during the current lockdown if they escape, no one will be able to look for them, including yourself.
Thankyou again to all our supporters, we will keep you all updated, please stay safe and please follow the government advice.
