About me
Poppy is a pocket rocket who loves her walks! She’s a really smart girl and picks things up quickly (especially when there’s food involved!!!).
While Poppy will cuddle up next to you on the sofa it is on her own terms. With some kind and consistent training, Poppy is sure to make a fantastic and loving little companion for an active home.
Canine Carers' Comments
Poppy does enjoy going out on social walks with other doggy friends but is looking for an experienced adult-only home with no other pets.
Her new owners will need to be patient and understanding and take a ‘hands-off’ approach until Poppy is ready to trust them. In addition, Poppy suffers from separation anxiety and cannot be left alone at all to begin with – we recommend that her future adopters work with a certified behaviourist in order to help her feel more comfortable with being home alone.
