About Me

Pixie is a super smart girl with typical German Shepherd traits. Although she can be wary of strangers at first, once she gets to know you she loves nothing more than a good cuddle, and will sit on your lap given half the chance! Pixie loves chasing balls and de-stuffing soft toys, but most of all she likes holding toys in her mouth while you stroke her – a bit like her own safety blanket.

Home Requirements

Pixie has a little basic training and knows ‘sit’ and ‘paw’, but she is quick to learn and very food-oriented so she should take well to training. She enjoys food puzzles and works them out very quickly! Although she is a strong girl and can sometimes react to strangers on the lead, she is a joy to walk and is very attentive. She will happily sit next to you and take treats while watching people or dogs walk past. She could live with a calm, well-balanced dog, but multiple meet-and-greets at the kennels would be necessary.

Pixie does guard her kennel, and this is something that may also need to be worked on in her home environment. Given that she can be nervous around strangers, a quiet home with few visitors would be ideal, and any interactions with guests will need to be carefully managed.

Pixie has so much potential to make a fantastic and loyal companion, and she is sure to thrive in the right home.
