About Me
Marble is a stunning young lady who came into Pawprints very scared and unsure. But the more she has started to trust the people around her, the more she is starting to come out of her shell – and she has proven to be a super playful and affectionate dog! Food is definitely the way to Marble’s heart, but she also LOVES sniffing. Marble can be strong on the lead, but when given a longer lead and a bit of space to move around she is lovely to walk (see video). She is a smart girl who learns quickly – contrary to what many people believe about her breed, they do not need a ‘firm hand’; she responds really well to kind, consistent, reward-based training. Do you have a Marble-shaped hole in your heart? She’d love to meet you!
Home Requirements
Marble is looking for an adoptive family who are familiar with large breeds and will be confident handling her on the lead. Marble would love to live with another large dog who would match her rambunctious play style! It is worth bearing in mind, however, that she is still a young dog who will need plenty of training and guidance, so it’s important that her adopters have time to commit to that on top of their other dog. Due to her size and bouncy nature, Marble can only live with older, dog-savvy children (14+). She cannot live with cats or other small furries. Marble will need all her basic training in the home, including toilet training.
