Helen is one of the most relaxed dogs we’ve met, and she’s an absolute joy to be around. She loves collecting cuddles from everyone she meets and will gently tap you with a big paw if you stop! Helen is a typical Akita and very much likes doing things her way, but she is very responsive and will definitely become more so as her relationship with her adopters builds. She walks beautifully on the lead and really enjoys going on walks, but she is frightened of traffic so her new adopters will need to work on gradually exposing her to traffic in a positive way while taking her on quieter walks in the meantime.
