About Me
Emma can be both energetic and chilled, and loves a good run around with her toys at a secure field as well as a good snooze. Although a little anxious outside, she walks beautifully on the lead. She currently barks at other dogs on walks due to frustration, which will likely improve in a home environment once she gets enough sleep to reduce the stress from the kennels. Emma is also nervous around big vehicles and gets worried by children. As such, she would benefit from someone who is willing to work with her to boost her confidence, ideally with the help of a force free-trainer or behaviourist. She loves anything to do with food, which makes training easier, and she is really affectionate and fun to be around!
Home Requirements
Emma enjoys going for walks, ideally in quiet areas, but she doesn’t need hour-long walks every day. She is happy with a relaxed stroll but would also love the opportunity to run, perhaps in rented fields until her reactivity issues are resolved. Emma is currently very stressed at the kennels and doesn’t get enough sleep, so she will need time to decompress and catch up on rest in her new home. Emma would prefer to be an only dog, but with professional help, she could likely have some doggy friends. Unfortunately, Emma gets very worried around children, so there can’t be any children living with her or visiting.
