Bear arrived at the kennels as an unwanted stray, and whilst we have no background on him it is obvious by his behaviour around strangers that in his previous home he was shown no love and is now very worried around strangers.

Once the trust is built with Bear he is a cracking little dog with a great personality.  He generally gets on well with other dogs but due to the time and commitment that he needs we feel he would be better suited to a home with no other dogs.

Bear needs to be in a home with very little or no visitors but would love an active home as he loves nothing better than going out for long walks and could possibly be an excellent running buddy.

Due to Bears nervous aggression around strangers, his new humans will need to be very committed to meetings with him regularly before taking him home and once home the same process will need to be followed to introduce him to any visitors.

Bear has been muzzle trained using positive methods and as such he has no issues wearing his muzzle and if comfortable in it.
